Our
Volunteers
Volunteers play a vital role in the work Zoo - Zoom is
able to do within the community. These people give of themselves, in the
rain, heat & humidity. Selflessly helping in any situation they can.
We praise each and every one of you, and humbly thank you for your
efforts. We would like to thank everybody who has helped us out in every
way. But, there are a few people who have just gone above and beyond
when it comes to helping the animals and caring about our mission.
-
Daniel Messangale.
Dan gives of himself
whenever he can, he has been a long time volunteer and used to rely
on his Mom & Dad for a ride over. Now he has his own wheels and
he is a tremendous help. Hard working, diligent Dan !! Sometimes we see him a little, sometimes we see him a
lot, but he always stays in touch and helps with the animals ! Dan will often come with us on bigger events, thanks Dan for
your help.
-
George & Janice
Morrison.
George & Janice are our
Festival helpers, when we travel to the likes of our bigger jobs in
and around Morgan City they are always there to help us. You will
generally see them with us at the Sawmill Festival, and other large
scale events. We have learnt a lot from this hardworking duo, and we
and all our critters appreciate their help.
-
Elizabeth Martel,
what a great helper. Elizabeth has
been here long enough to know most animals by name, and we have a
lot of animals. Elizabeth is a true animal lover, and shows great
skills in many facets of animal husbandry and ownership.
-
Lee, Michelle,
Heather & Casey Russo. A
whole family of helpers, things we could not have done Lee and his
family have been there for us. The children are an asset to their family
and the family is an asset to Zoo - Zoom.
-
Emily & Brian
Rohdemann. Emily
& Brian are pretty much there when you need 'em, this is a great
asset to us here, as there are those times we we just can't do it
all. They help us out at a number of our larger events, construction
projects and will come and feed in our absence.
-
Special thanks
must be made for these people.
